To ensure the continuity of the bilingual programme, the Middle School proposes a programme that integrates the traditional Italian ministerial programme with the intensive study of English and Science in English. Spanish and an introduction to Latin are also part of the curriculum. Computer studies are applied to almost all the disciplines.
In this delicate stage of development, the students are provided with a serene atmosphere and warmth that stimulates them as they mature. The laboratory activities, the study of new technologies and of art, enhanced by numerous cultural excursions, physical education and the participation in sports tournaments are all an important part of the students’ education.

 

School Day:
Monday – Thursday 8.15am – 4.25pm; Friday 8.15am – 3.35pm.

 

Programme of Studies:

Improvement in English with mother-tongue English teachers (with the possibility of taking Cambridge examinations). The application of computer studies in various disciplines, especially Science and Technology.

 

Cultural Activities

The Middle School offers many cultural activities, which include visits to art exhibitions, participation in school shows and concerts, meetings with cultural representatives, current affairs conferences, and a Health Education course.

 

Characteristics:

The teaching activities are open to innovation while respecting traditional values. Through the student leaders, the students undertake charity work and actively participate in the organisation of school events, including student dances and parties.
